Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem is a Salafi/Wahabbi. Do not listen to him

I should be a little mor clear, do not listen to him unless he talks about spirituality, fasting, or prayer. When it comes to other matters, feel free to ignore him, just like all Salafi/Wahhabi sheikhs. This is a DEVIENT group. They do not understand Islam through the lenses of logic, reason, and non-arab norms.
There is a reason this guy disables comments on his Youtube channel. He knows he's controversial. He knows Salafi/Wahabbi aqeedah is disgusting.

  1. Just so to let you know, the four madzhab have the same aqeedah and they all say it's a consensus. Assim al Hakeem holds the same aqeedah as the four madzhab. Please read their books, if you don't believe me.

  2. Salam alaikum,
The only reason I am wishing you salam is because The Prophet saws ordered Muslims to do that.

The reason why Shaikh Assim al Hakeem disables comments is because he doesn't want cretins like you to rant around.

You do not explain what's so disgusting about so-called "Wahhabi" aqeedah. But, obviously, it cannot be that bad, since you are yourself recommending Al Hakeem as a advisor for prayer and spirituality.

The term wahhabism comes from the Islamic scholar Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab, who lived in the 18th century Arabian Peninsula. At that time, catholic-like saint and grave-worshipp became common and Ibn Abdulwahhab warned against that, since the Qur'an, the Sunnah and Islamic scholars themselves have warned from these shirkiyat (paganisms).

The critics of Ibn Abdulwahhab called him and his associates "Wahhabis", which they derived from his name (Ibn AbdulWAHHAB). They used it in a derogatory sense.

If u had any knowledge or shame, you would not call anybody a "Wahhabi", cuz "Wahhab" is one of Allahs swt 99 beautiful names and it means "The Giver".

Many Islamic scholars at that time critisied Ibn Abdulwahhab, for errors in fiqh and his supposed claim that only he and his associates are true Muslims.

Ibn Abdulwahhab refuted these baseless rumors and allegations against him and he and his sons sent letters to various Islamic scholars from around the world, removing these misconceptions. You can find these letters and clarifications in this 16-volume book: الدرر السنية في الأجوبة النجدية
    Read also: إسلامية لا وهابية

Hence, many Islamic scholars (contemporaries of Ibn Abdulwahhab) supported him and refuted the rumors against him, like

Shaykh Muhammad Basheer al-Sahsawaanee al-Hindi (d. 1326H), who wrote

Shaykh Abd al-Karim bin Fakhr al-Din al-Hindi in his book,

Shaykh Salih bin Muhammad al-Shitree (d. 1309H) who wrote

Shaykh Muhammad bin Ibraaheem Eesaa al-Hanbali (d. 1329H) who wrote a book that is still currently only in manuscript form, and it is called,

Shaykh Sulayman bin Sahmaan (d. 1349H) who refuted the critics of ibn Abdulwahhab in a poetry composition consisting of over 500 lines.

Shaykh Zayd bin Muhammad Aal Sulaymaan (d. 1307H) wrote the excellent work,

    So, "wahhabism" does NOT exist

There were some scholars who believed that "Wahhabis" are a separate sect. The most prominent are Muhammad Zahid al Kawthari and Hassan ibn Ali Saqqaf. But, they crticise "Wahhabis" for purely theological topics, since Kawthari and Saqqaf belong to the theological school of Maturidis, while Ibn Abdulwahhab was Athari.

But, you are a secularist and a liberal.

If Kawthari or Saqqaf were to see you and if they read all the nonsense you are writing here in your blog, they would vomit.

"Wahhabi" is just a meaningless buzzword (your whole false liberal and secularist worldview is based upon buzzwords which you yourself do not quite understand and which changed throughout history, depending on the subjective zeitgeist of the secularists).

Every time you notice an Islamic scholar says something that clearly contradicts liberalism, you just paint that as "wahhabism", without having clue what you are talking about.

    Please, delete this blog.

If u don't want to do this for the sake of the Muslim community, at least do it for yourself, so you don't embarrass yourself anymore.

    Salam alaikum

    7. I don't know why you people lost you mind when it comes to authentic hadees and sunna. Wahabi merely follows hadees and sunna in the light with Quran. You all really need to upgrade your mental health.

    Artinya:

“Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, taatilah Allah dan taatilah Rasul (Nabi Muhammad) serta ululamri (pemegang kekuasaan) di antara kamu. Jika kamu berbeda pendapat tentang sesuatu, kembalikanlah kepada Allah (Al-Qur’an) dan Rasul (sunahnya) jika kamu beriman kepada Allah dan hari Akhir. Yang demikian itu lebih baik (bagimu) dan lebih bagus akibatnya (di dunia dan di akhirat).” (An-Nisa: 59).

    1. It depends of the intentions.

If you do a good deed before prayer or after prayer or at a certain time period everyday as a habit because you think it has some special significance even though it isn't in the sunnah. Then this is bid'ah and here is a hadith about it:

"“Whomever Allah guides, no one can lead him astray. Whomever Allah sends astray, no one can guide him. The truest word is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The evilest matters in religion are those that are newly invented, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.”

      Source: Sunan al-Nasā’ī 1578”

"If anyone introduces an innovation, he will be responsible for it. If anyone introduces an innovation or gives shelter to a man who introduces an innovation (in religion), he is cursed by Allah, by His angels, and by all the people.

      Source: Sunan Abi Dawud 4530"

""The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah will not accept any fasting, prayer, charity, Hajj, 'Umrah, Jihad, or any other obligatory or voluntary action from a person who follows innovation (Bid'ah). He comes out of Islam like a hair pulled out of dough.

      Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 49"

"The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you."

      Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 6582"

If you do it for no particular reason other than it's the only time you remember to do it or you have a packed schedule and can only find time at those certain times then this is permissible or just simply out of convenience to get 2 birds in 1 stone then this is permissible.

But you have to remember that this is not part of Islam and you cannot present this to others as such rather just say it's a habit you have out of convenience for your own daily schedule otherwise the hadith's above you will be your future.
