It is quite unfortunate that a horrible false hadith is circulating all over the internet. This is one of the reasons we need hadith reform; it has created terrible attitudes towards women to the point false and made-up ones are arising.
I have noticed this "hadith" a lot on Pakistani (surprise surprise) media and entertainment outlets (facebook and Youtube). As usual, it is men throwing this "hadith" around (and of course a few self hating women) at Muslim women. I have searched around for this alleged "saying" of the Prophet and have found literally ZERO sources. I have asked on a few Islamic Q and A platforms, and Muslims on there seem clueless.
So, if you see an insecure Muslim male from Pakistan or Afghanistan throw this hadith around, tell them to jump off a cliff.
